To press on...
Its all in pressing on towards the goal to win the prize ... That's what I learned on Sat?
Well.. we had a church event on Saturday... Something like Amazing Race lah... Running around Singapore... Actually... more of the East Side of Singapore.. Thankfully.... HEEE... I am old liao... Was a bit regretting to go cos I was so tired the whole week... and knowing that all my other frens are not going.. then a bit sianz... It's always like that... last time the Amazing Grace race also like that... In the end... I was the only one around from my clique artound... Well.. but last time was to support Irene.. Now... is to support Hua Jie... Since I hate it when ppl agree to do something and in the end never do... So, I guess I must stick on to what I agreed with Hua Jie lah... Anyway... my afterthought...
1) I old liao...
2) The ppl in Worship 2 are young..
3) I cannot run
4) My memory is no good
5) I can kick a ball
6) I am a bus guide
7) To press on towards the Goal (ben and jerry voucher and reaching back church first) then we can win the prize! Ha! Hey.... my 2nd race and our team reached church 1st again!!!! Yippeee... though I do think if not for me... they would have reached church earlier lah... since they were waiting for me all the while.. hahahaa...
HA! I can say I had fun lah... But it was tiring... my legs are aching until now... Though I did not really get to know my team mates well lah... Duno.. I always think this kind of event a bit ... hahah.. i also duno how to say... I know its to bond ppl lah. .. and to get to know ppl we dun know lah...but I join a few such events, I guess bonding is really up to ppl.... if you wana bond with others .. on a normal day you will bond liao lor... and.. we have to accept it that there are different groups in church mah... so ... you just get along with ppl you feel more comfortable with... I dun see that as a problem... at least the whole church does not have a different opinion or a enemies with each other or what.... Everywhere also the same... in work lah .. in school lah... you also all have different cliques... Anyway.... the next event... guess... I will still see who go then I go.. hahahahah....Anyway, Hua Jie, if you are reading this... Job well done loh!! Can see you and the team put a lot of effort into the whole event!! Hope that you will continue to serve PAPA with this talent that you have! And.... must support our D&N committee's event next time yah... HA! Our next event is the transformation conference loh!!
Sometimes I think PAPA works in special ways... I remembered there was a time when I felt so lonely in church.... I knew I just could not fit into the clique...Only had Kris ... But then, he brought along Hua Jie, Irene, Ivy, Yenmei, Huiyi along the way... and "ta-da" we are a new clique...
Then when I complained to Him that I dun get out much of the pulpit minisitry and CG, then things started to change and "ta-da", I do feel now that I am learning much...
Then I felt that I had no opportunity to serve in church.. I was not someone who will go up to others and say I wana do this or that... But then... someone approached me and asked me if I wana help out in a committee... and "ta-da"... I am happily serving now...
Also used to think I cannot get used to the fact that everyone else is younger than me.. but now... I can.. haaha... maybe cos I am getting older.... and the fact is ppl around me are younger..
God... I believe if You can do that for me in church... You can also do that for me in my workplace right? Unless that place is not a place You wana me to be in?
Its strange.... the sun rises and its a new morning everyday.. but its always different on a Monday morning and Saturday morning... The nights are the same every night... but its different on a Friday night and a Sunday night... What's the difference? its all in our perspective and how we see that timing... tomolo i see it as a another long week ahead... So i am dreading much of it... why can't I see it as the last week of long nights? would i be more happy? maybe...
