Ole Ole Ole~~~~~~~~~~~

Okie.. it is World Cup Fever!!! The weekends was filled with World Cup matches... I stayed up on Friday Night to watch... halfway thru the 3am game I could not take it liao.. hahaha... Then the Saturday day match... only managed to stay halfway thru the Sweden one... Sunday was family time in my Uncle's house.. and X-men 2 seemed more interesting than any World Cup matches.. kekek... Wolverine and Cyclops were more nice to look at.. kekek..or shld I say oggle at... hahahah.... Anyway... as I am typing this.. just finished watching the match between Japan and Australia.. Okie.. Since I am Asian... I support Asian teams... eh... but first of all.. my fave Jap player Inamoto did not play.. and secondly... the Japan team really not good at all man... I mean.. they just stand around.. Disappointing... Oh well.. tomolo is Korea... hopefully not so disappointing... think if the Asian teams cannot make it... I might join my dad and support the African teams who I feel are doing quite well..

Okie.... enough of World Cup...

Btw... Have been wanting to thank all you folks for celebrating my birthday with me ... I appreciate it a lot... all the lovely cards and pressies... It was a year of good "harvest" ... hahahahahahhaha..... But most of all... I felt so loved and so blessed by all of you... Thank you for blessing my life and being my friends yah.... It always scares me to think what would become of me if I had never met you all.... Love you all.... *Muaks Muaks Muaks* ... Thanx for loving me for who I am too.... kekek.. I know I can be rather cranky and bad tempered at times....

Oggie.... I will say more "thank you speeches" when I finally found a boyfriend or win an award or a singing competition... hahahah... hmmm.. think very rare chance huh... kekek.....("P)

Okie.. now onto Superband... ooo... results are now... not watching... and my dad is sure at the TV for the World Cup match now... Ooo... just went to check to forums... Juz-B is out??? Oh dear.... Been checking the forums for American Idol and got the inspiration to do a recap of Superband.. hahah... see if I can continue on for other Superband contests... anyway.. here it goes..

First of all ... we got Man-Tou... And they are singing..

Okie.. back to Man Tou... as I was saying.. they sang 我要你的爱.... eh... I find it not that bad... as in.. not that bad as their previous performance lah..... Felt the mixing of the song quite refreshing... Forgot what the judges said about them.. I just honestly cannot stand Chong Qing's comments... Urrrggg... Can't we also vote for the judges ... as in who we dislike the most...

Team 2 was Juz-B performing 夜来香.... I find that their arrangement was interesting... Just that the lead singer is really a bit out of tune out of tune kind... But one thing.... I always think those kind of play acting ah.. not very 实际 leh... Yah it is refreshing... But.. in real live concert... too much of it will be rather funny bah... duno lah... guess Juz-B just have to improve on their pitch problems.. maybe they can try to have some music at the back leh... a bit sianz without any music... Or... they can try this accapell local group... i forgot their name... but they got some songs rather nice and think will sound nice for Juz-B... so... guess we will see them in revival 2.....

Next up was MiLuBing... 3 young boys... I always think they are cute... and their music arrangement is superb... but... they just dun "connect" with me as yet... but my was their performance of 甜蜜蜜 nice... Loved the chinese flute part at the beginning... the rock in the middle was a bit 牵强 lah.... like die die must put some rock flavour to the song... the judges as usual gave them very high marks... okie.. guess they deserved it... I still think their best song so far was 过火.. that was WOW.... performances after that WOW performance was only okie to me... And oh Chong Qing.... they look like "bang bang tang"??? What kind of comment is that?? So are they suppose to look like bubble gum in their next performance??

Here comes Qinobe!! Okie.. I like them.. I really do... I think they will surely perform very well if they can perform a Linkin Park number... but too bad this is a Chinese competition... and guess they can't show how good they are unless they perform those underground band music.. but now with the theme nights... it seems like almost imposible... okie.. they performed 等这你回来... ooo.. the ghostly song... that red guy is really funny... cannot help laughing at him crawling on the stage at the back....I felt their performance this time round only so-so.... A bit wierd to hear this song in a rap style.... felt they got too high marks... oh well... hopefully they can do better the next time round...

Next up is Brods.... They performed 一样的月光... eh.. not as familiar with this song as the other songs.... However, they were definately better than the last time round... Can't comment on their pitch or whatever lah.. But can give them marks for a vast improvement from the last round... But... honestly dun think they will last long...

Lucify is next.... and they performed 我只在乎你... I might be bias cos I quite like them... But... I felt they performed quite good ah.. I like the arrangement... the lead singer somehow reminds me of Sly... Are they related?? .. But anyways... think they deserved more marks than they got... Dun understand why some groups the pace like slower than them... but the judges say their pace not tight enough... I was like... Huh?? Oh well.. I ain't no music person... Okie.. I am bias.. Judges are just too harsh on them... they actually sounded better than Man Tou, Qinobe and Brods...

And here comes the Boy Band... I actually am quite smitten by a few of them... But i do have to say this... MAN Are the judges bias of what... come on... 37?? for THEM??? They performed 大眼睛... Okie.. their dancing was great as usual... but hey... a few of them are dance instructors lor.... but their singing only so-so mah... and some more the judges can say what their dancing cover up for their other glitches... come on man... this is a competition... you have to be good at everything.... Oh well... yup .. i do believe they can make it big... but... boy bands will be boy bands and the fever will die down after some time... "sigh"... they better buck up their singing... but... yah.. a few of them are quite cute lah.. kekeke...

Ooo.. and Finally is J3.... They performed 热情的沙漠... eh... I dun really like them lah... seems the same "kuan" like JJ and JY (Eeeeks....) oh well... I can't comment on their performance lah.. hahah.. cos by the time they came out.. my TV channel was switched from Singapore to Germany... and I was trying to spot my Inamoto and Nakata... kekekeke...

Okie.... Here is my recap for the week... Okie.. I make a lousy judge too.. kekekekek.... But hey... I really find the theme week redundant lah... maybe the oldies week like okie lah.... But come on.. their first 2 weeks theme I was like... Duh... what 933fm charts lah... and songs from popular groups lah... ain't those the songs they have been choosing from too?? Next week is like what singapore compose one lah... Hey... if you wana a theme week... is to let the groups sing a certain genre of song... like Blues or Jazz.... Hip-Hop or Rap... "sigh"... Oh well... no matter how unsatisfied I am with the show.. I am still gluing to it.... kekek.. it is rather entertaining lah... better than Singapore Idol.... which is like... hmmm...

One thing...next time if producers wana telecast Singapore Idol.. I dun think it is a wise idea to put it straight after American Idol.... It falls pale in comparison... Pale ... VERY Pale.. Come on...In Amercian Idol... we can see the excitment of ppl yelling "I get to go to H0llywood!!!" But in Singapore we have contestants yelling they get to go Caldecott Hill... hmmm... And in America they get to stay in Hollywood but contestants in Singapore goes where?? Oh... good old White Sands chalet... Okie... I will try not to be too cynical about Singapore Idol... will give it a chance when they get to the Top 12....

Okie... this is a long post... kekekek... but yet again another Not constructive one... kekekeke... dun think i can get any constructive posts at alll...

But I forgot which is the guy I like in the Korea team liao... too long never see him.. been 4 years since the last World Cup... wonder if he is even playing at all... hahahahahah....
