I had a great weekend!!

Convocation Day...

Yoz!! wah.... i think the great times really pass very fast.... I had a very enjoyable weekend.... oggie... will start from Friday huh.... hahah.. cos Friday was on leave for my Convocation Day...

oggie.. firstly... i have to be honest... actually was not very excited for my Convo Day... i just was happy cos i got excuse to take leave... go back SIM and meet up with you SIM ppl... though... we can say we meet up quite often... hahhaha... but meeting up in school again is just a special feeling... i missed the time in school lah... as i walk back seeing all those students sitting at the benches ... eating lunch or discussing projects makes me think of the old times which i missed a lot.... duno... we are strange ppl huh... that time... was a mad rush of projects... stress with deadlines... many late nights... but still it was still such a joy to me doing all that...

oggie.. but yah... i was not actually "excited" about the fact i had to sit among ppl i dun really know for 2 - 3 hours.. listening to boring speeches and clapping hands for 200 over ppl... but still... thankfully i managed to go thru that whole process.... and this girl sitting next to me was actually quite sweet and initated some conversation with me... hahah...

after that... was the food... of which we had waited for 2 years... which i think was not bad lah... then was the photo-taking session.. took some photos... i mean.. oggie.. i dun see a diff in taking the photos in our plain clothes and in our convo gowns lah.. a photo is a photo... and our faces are all the same.. the only difference is in the clothes that we wear... and i dun see why i should be happier cos i am in a black gown and a hat ... hahha.. but anyway... it was fun taking photos lah... guess it really is the end of our school life liao...

after that... changed into my "auntie looking" t-shirt and bermudas... and went to Yishun to look for Miss Niyo, Hana and Julie... did not join ya girls for badminton.. but i enjoyed our talking time in the coffeeshop... hahaha.. i really feel more at ease at coffeeshops... (^__^) ... guess the talking time makes me think of old times when we will have such chats over lunch too... and yah... my first time taking Hana's car too... hahah.. though not too long a distance...

Saturday Trip (will upload these pics when i get most of them)

oggie... now is my Saturday trip to some village in Indonesia... hahah... it was tiring.. but it was fun.... i enjoyed the time bonding with my CG ppl.... as usual... we had to wake up very very early to catch the ferry... i guess the world is so small huh... not to say how small Singapore can be... on the ferry... we met another group of Christian youths who are going to another part of Indonesia too... hahah.. it was funny how we met... Kris and me love to go out to sit lah.. cos the ferry inside a bit sianz... so standing outside can see the sea... enjoy the sea breeze... then Kris was wearing some Crusade t-shirt... so this young girl... when she came out she kept looking at us liao... then after some time... she asked Kris whether she is from Crusade and she told us she also from Crusade... so that's how we got to know one another... then we just talked about what each of our groups will be doing.. hahah.. which really goes to show how small our world can be huh...

oggie.. then it was the van ride into the village .... it was about 1 hour lah... on paved road... then bumpy road then paved road again... though it was bumpy... but i enjoyed the time talking with the rest of my frens in the van... and as i was looking at the view outside... really reminds me of the ride to Great Ocean Road back in Melbourne... though it was much coooler than lah... hahah.. but the greenery and all that... really seemed quite similar to me... anyway... upon nearly reaching the village... our Geography teacher ("P) was telling us which where the pineapple was.. the papaya trees lah... and all that...

oggies.. upon reaching the village... we had a great lunch ... which has always been the case... cos the place cook great food... and it was very relaxing lah... with the sea brezee blowing.. and the sound of the sea waves... and sitting out there... wah... so relaxing... something ya can't get in Singapore one... our lunch was black pepper crabs.... sambal kang kong... and a fish... (^__^)

oggie.. after that... we played with the children from one village for a while... then... the ppl who were supposed to go to the other village had to set off... so a few of us went with them... and there... Kris, Irene, Auntie Susan, Auntie (forgot her name) and me were supposed to help give away some old clothes...so... as Irene called out the villagers names.. they will come.. and we will then take some clothes for them according to the number and age of ppl in their household.. it was fun in a way ... and ya really see how happy they are even in receving our old clothes... guess we really have to be thankful for the luxuries we have now... though they do have some "luxuries" which we dun have lah... hahah.. like the beautiful seashells are their rubbish.. and we just went around picking them...

after all the work... (which i felt wasn't much though... hopefully next time if we ever can go as a CG again.. we can do more)... we went to walk this long long "bridge" out to this fish farm further out to sea... the "bridge" was just this long stilts with some 3-4 wooden planks on it those kind lah... hahah.. it was fun... can be a little scary lah.. but.. ayam not scared of this kind of things one.. hahaha... but i enjoyed that time.. and we took a picture at the fish farm... hopefully this picture comes out nice (^__^)... anyways.. then we had to hurry back cos we had to leave for the jetty liao... the van ride back was fun.. thank dear letty for making it so enjoyable too huh.... and yah.. thanx for letting us tease ya lah.. kekek..

i also enjoyed the ferry ride back.. the last time we also went out lie down on the deck to stare at the stars... this time we also went out.. but the ferry not as big as last time one... so the open space was only at the back... and all the smokers where there lah... but... i will not miss out on my star gazing (as in REAL stars you know.. not those 明星 kind.. which i admit i also like to see lah.. kekeke..) experience... and... yup... it was worth it... cos... first part not much stars lah... only in the middle of the sea that part... then ya stand at the rear end of the ferry... seeing the sea behind... and above.. the vast sky with countless stars in the sky... just makes you stare and stand in awe at PAPA's creation.... so sad that in Singapore it is just so hard to see the whole sky filled with stars huh.... heheh...

oh.. then we got back to singapore... and a few of us went for a "short supper" at my hometown... kekekek...

Sunday

as usual... it is just a usual 4th sunday where i have my ushering duty... and a usual sunday afternoon where we will go Dunman hawker centre to eat..... the usual duck rice... hahah.. and sometimes we will go orchard... so this time... we went orchard... and just nice... bumped into nana, linnie and dawnie... kekek... well... i had a wonderful time sharing with both of ya, irene and letty... (^__^)

oggies.. there goes my eventful weekend.... and i enjoyed every bit of it... hahah.. guess everytime when i have a very eventful weekend... my monday becomes more blue.... but... i will now try to be thankful for everything i have and be contented...

oh yah.. Miss Niyo... i forgot to ask ya if ya bought the Beyond CD... anyway... here is another one of their songs in the CD... from their disc 2... but think this is quite a common song... one of their famous songs and if i am not wrong.. got the Chinese version one... (^__^)
